This app design is mindful of bike riding safety as well as resourcefulness. The Planet Bike app design allows the user to check in when the last time they have charged the battery on their bike light to always be prepared to ride at night. The checklist page is meant to keep a list of items someone should wear when exercising at night. The final screen plays while the app is synced to a Planet Bike charging battery to display how far along the charge is. This app is meant to be synced with gear or smart devices. Thought was given to elements of road safety such as hazard warnings, flashlights, road stripes, and reflective gear.
The series of advertising posters and social media posts following the app serves to promote the app usage and double as a PSA campaign. Elements were brought in from the app including the photography of the landing page as well as a new font.
